Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites and Our Weeklong Vacation in Boracay
A world renowned destination in the country that boasts pristine white sand beaches, you’ll never go wrong to spend a vacation in Boracay. A popular tropical paradise in the Philippines, Boracay has always been my go-to destination whenever I want to leave the city and have some time away. The island also offers several activities. It also has a lot places to eat and wonderful hotels that tourists would definitely enjoy. In June this year, I was able to go back to Boracay and spent a week with my family and friends for a vacation. As usual, we would like this weeklong vacation in Boracay to be relaxing as possible so we stayed in our favorite hotel in Boracay. Gladly, Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites provided us a lovely experience.
Our stay at Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites
Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites is a leisure hotel located in the heart of Boracay. It features 43 well-appointed rooms, a rooftop pool bar and grill, and a signature wood-fired bistro. It was around lunch time when we arrived at the hotel. I went straight to the front desk and presented my reservation and identification. I was asked to fill up a form and after a few minutes, the front desk staff handed me my keycard. The last time I went here, I stayed in a Superior Room. This time during our weeklong vacation in Boracay, I was very excited because I was going to be able to experience their Garden Suite.
Room
Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites offers 4 different room types such as Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Corner Suite, and Garden Suite. My room for this vacation was a Garden Suite. Upon entering the room, I was overjoyed how amazing the room was. It was spacious, clean, and well equipped with wonderful amenities. The room has a queen bed, which I must say very cozy and comfy. The room also has mini fridge, Television, electric kettle, dryer, and a work desk. Free toiletries are also provided.
In addition to these fabulous amenities, what I was really ecstatic about this room was the outdoor bathtub. It has this “Bali kind of vibes” because of the plants and mini garden. I definitely stayed here to relax after a long day at the beach. Overall, I loved the Garden Suites. It has a cozy and homey ambiance that let us able to have our much-needed rest while in Boracay.
Facilities
Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites also features a number of amazing facilities and services such as 24-hour front desk and security, on-site restaurant, rooftop pool bar, computer station and free access to Wi-Fi. The resort also offers transfer and tour assistance.
Aside from the guest rooms and facilities, what I love about our weeklong vacation in Boracay and staying at Ferra Hotel and Garden Suites was because how nice and friendly their staff are. They always make it a point that we are at home. That this hotel is our home in Boracay where we can enjoy, relax, and have fun.
Our weeklong vacation in Boracay
Boracay is a beautiful island with lots of interesting thing to offer and activities to do. During our weeklong vacation in Boracay, here are some of the activities that we did from enjoying the beach, food, to watching sunset.
The main attraction of Boracay is the White Beach with white sand, beautiful palm trees, and clean blue water. When we were outside, most of the time you’ll find us enjoying the beach. We would just lay out our beach mat, then I would open either my laptop or phone then play card video games. This has became my pastime while I was in the island. A classic favorite that I always play is Solitaire.
After playing some games, with my family or friends, we would walk from Station 2 to Station 1 and would check out some souvenir stores. We would end up our day by watching the sunset. Boracay has one of the most beautiful sunsets.
Some other things not to miss when in Boracay are the water activities, restaurants, and parties.
