Kwai Siargao: A Charming Boutique Stay in the Island
One of the reasons I always find myself coming back to Siargao is the island vibe, and my recent stay at Kwai Siargao gave me exactly the kind of experience I love about the island. There’s just something about being surrounded by nature, slowing down, and living at your own pace that makes every visit feel like a much-needed escape. No matter how many times I visit, I still love that feeling of being on island time, where the days feel a little slower and everything feels more relaxed.
During my last trip to Siargao, I got to experience that same laid-back island feeling at Kwai Siargao. This charming boutique stay offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while being located in a super accessible area of the island. I loved how it gives you the best of both worlds. You’re close to the places you want to visit, but once you’re back at the resort, you can enjoy a quiet space that still feels very much like Siargao.
It was around noontime when I arrived at Kwai Siargao. Since the resort is located in a popular and accessible area of General Luna, finding it was easy, as it’s just a short distance from the main road. While the resort doesn’t have a traditional front desk, getting in touch with the staff was easy through mobile and online messaging.
My check-in had already been completed online, so upon arrival, I was simply greeted by the staff and escorted straight to my room. The process was quick and hassle-free, which was a great way to start my stay at Kwai Siargao.
Room
Kwai Siargao is a cozy six-room boutique resort that offers an intimate and relaxing stay in General Luna. With only six rooms, the resort has a quiet and exclusive feel while providing chic and comfortable accommodations for different types of travelers. Guests can choose from the Family Room, King Room Poolside, and Triple Room Poolside. During my stay, I got the King Room Poolside, which was a comfortable choice for my Siargao trip.
I really loved my stay in the King Room Poolside at Kwai Siargao. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the island. It comes with a comfortable king-size bed, a work desk, bedside lamps, and cabinets for storage, providing everything I needed for a convenient stay.
The room has a simple, modern design with gray-toned walls that give it a cool and minimalist feel. I also liked how spacious the toilet and bath area was. Fresh towels and basic toiletries were provided. Overall, the King Room Poolside felt cozy, practical, and relaxing.
Facilities
More than the room, I also loved the pool, the surroundings, and the overall vibe of Kwai Siargao. The resort is surrounded by lots of greenery, which gives the place a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed how it feels like a quiet escape where you can slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and simply take your time. It gave me that laid-back island vibe I always look forward to whenever I visit Siargao.
The pool was also one of the spots I enjoyed during my stay. It was a nice place to cool down, relax, or just spend some quiet time at the resort. With the greenery around it and the calm atmosphere, it was easy to forget about the busy day and just enjoy being on island time.
For convenience, Kwai Siargao also has a reliable Wi-Fi connection, which is helpful if you need to stay connected during your trip. The staff are also easy to reach and ready to assist whenever you need anything. Another thing I found convenient was the laundry shop located just outside the resort, especially for longer stays when you need to have some clothes washed. These little conveniences made my stay at Kwai Siargao even more comfortable and hassle-free.
Overall, my stay at Kwai Siargao was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I loved how it combines a convenient location in General Luna with a peaceful and laid-back atmosphere, making it easy to explore Siargao and still have a quiet place to come back to. With its cozy rooms, relaxing pool, and island vibe, Kwai Siargao is definitely a place I would recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and charming stay in Siargao.
