Reside Siargao: A Cozy Beachfront Stay in Siargao
Earlier this month, I found myself back in Siargao. It is one of my favorite places in the Philippines. I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve been here, but somehow, I never get tired of coming back. There’s just something about Siargao that always makes me want to return. No matter how many times I visit, it still feels like there’s something new to discover or look forward to. And this time, I was excited to finally stay at Reside Siargao.
For this trip, I decided to keep things simple and slow. I didn’t have a set itinerary or a list of places to visit. I just wanted to spend a week in Siargao, enjoy the beach, explore whenever I felt like it, and take a proper break from my usual routine.
Staying at Reside Siargao made that easy. Located in Barangay Catangnan, it’s close to the beach, restaurants, cafes, and popular spots around the island. It was a convenient and comfortable place to stay while I took things slow and simply enjoyed my time in Siargao.
I arrived at the resort around noon and was warmly welcomed by the staff. The check-in process was quick and easy. I just provided my ID and was given a refreshing welcome drink while they processed everything. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Before I knew it, I was already checked in, and the staff even helped me with my things and made sure I was settled comfortably in my room.

During my stay, I got the Studio Room with Beach Access. It is located on the first floor. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable, making it a great home base for my week in Siargao. It also comes with a private veranda, which was one of my favorite spots to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. The room also has a cozy queen-sized bed, modern furnishings, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It has a flat-screen TV, a fridge, and a safety deposit box. I also loved the clean and well-equipped toilet and bath, which came with fresh towels and basic toiletries.
With how comfortable my room was, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Siargao. Reside Siargao gave me exactly the kind of relaxing island getaway I was looking for. The room was perfect, and I’m glad I found this cozy beachfront accommodation in Siargao.
Facilities
Aside from the comfortable room, what I also enjoyed about my stay at Reside Siargao was the amenities. The beachfront location and convenient surroundings were already a plus, but I also liked that the resort had everything I needed to make my stay more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the bar and restaurant on the top floor, where you can enjoy food and drinks while having a nice beach view. I had the chance to try their food during lunchtime, and since I wasn’t sure what to order, I asked the staff for recommendations. I was happy with what they served, and it was a nice way to enjoy a relaxed meal during my stay.
The resort also offers daily activities and events that guests can join. During my visit, they held a Bachata dance class, which was a fun addition to the usual island activities. I liked that there were opportunities to do something different without having to leave the resort.
Apart from the bar and restaurant, Reside Siargao also offers 24-hour security, high-speed Wi-Fi, breakfast, and travel assistance. I asked the staff for assistance with my airport transfer, and they gladly helped arrange it for me. It was a simple thing, but I appreciated how accommodating and helpful the staff were throughout my stay.
Overall, I enjoyed having these amenities available, especially during a slow vacation when I didn’t have much planned. Sometimes, it’s nice to have a comfortable place to stay where you can enjoy good food, relax, and still have a few things to do without having to go far.
Reside Siargao is definitely one of the best beachfront stays I’ve had on the island. From the comfortable room and convenient location to the friendly staff and great amenities, everything made my stay even more memorable. I loved having a place where I could easily head to the beach, enjoy good food, and come back to a comfortable room after a day out. It was exactly the kind of slow island vacation I wanted, and I’m glad I found Reside Siargao.
