Since the homestay doesn’t have a formal reception area, everything is arranged online. I was in touch with the host before my arrival, and even prior to my flight, I already received clear and detailed instructions on how to access my room. With everything explained simply, the check-in process was smooth and completely hassle-free.
When I finally arrived, the place instantly brought me back to my Siargao days. There was something so familiar about it. The kind of feeling that makes you think, I’m home again. The homestay has a wide outdoor space surrounded by some greeneries, giving it that fresh, laid-back island atmosphere. With only four rooms on the property, it naturally feels quiet and unhurried, adding to the sense of privacy and calm. It’s the kind of place that quietly reminds you what an island home can feel like.
The room itself was simple, clean, and comfortable. It is exactly the kind of space you’d want after a long day of exploring Siargao. It came with all the basic essentials, including a cozy bed, a work area, air-conditioning, a wall fan, and a private toilet and bath. There were also shelves and a clothes hanger rack, which made organizing my things more convenient during my stay. The room felt spacious enough to relax in comfortably. An extra mattress is also available, making it a good option for groups or families of up to four guests.
Facilities
The facilities of Isla Cuatro Homestay are simple and not overly extensive. But everything you actually need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights is the fast and reliable Starlink WiFi, which is especially helpful if you’re working remotely while staying in Siargao.
