Novotel Surfers Paradise, a Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Gold Coast
Spectacular beaches, epic theme parks, fun attractions, and famous tourist spots, Gold Coast is an iconic holiday destination in Australia. This strip of coast is an amazing tourist destination with plenty of exciting things to do. And if you’re looking for a perfect place to stay and play in the heart of Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise is a place to be. This city is famous for beach goers and adventure seekers. It is also home to dozens of attractions, restaurants, pubs and shops. Some of the most wonderful hotels and resorts in Gold Coast are also in this area, one of which is Novotel Surfers Paradise.
Novotel Surfers Paradise is a 4.5 star property conveniently located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. It is along the main road and just minutes away from the beach. It is also accessible to some shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants and tourist spots. Novotel Surfers Paradise is a great place to stay with superior accommodations and modern amenities. I was glad that when I went back to Gold Coast, I opted for this hotel and spent two wonderful nights.
It was around 3:00pm when I arrived in Gold Coast. The bus stop is just nearby the hotel; hence, I didn’t have a hard time finding it. Upon entering the lobby of Novotel Surfers Paradise, I immediately went to the front desk. I presented my passport so staff can check my reservation. After getting some of my details, the staff handed my keycard. Checking in was quick and efficient, I must say.
Room
Novotel Surfers Paradise offers a range of accommodation options to suit every type of traveler. The hotel has 408 comfortable and modern rooms divided into three categories. The room types are Standard, Superior and Deluxe Room. Please refer to this link to check the room rate and availability.
All rooms are air-conditioned. Each features a private balcony, en-suite and comfortable stylish furniture. I stayed in a Superior Room located in the higher floor. In two nights, the hotel spoiled me with breathtaking view of the ocean and city skyline. The room has a private balcony offering a magnificent view. I couldn’t ask for a better view than this.
The Superior Room also has a generous size. My room fitted with one king bed can comfortably fit up to two persons. Some of the amenities also include flat screen TV, in-room safe, work desk, mini-refrigerator and hand-held dryers. The room also has a private bathroom. Toiletries and towels are provided for free.
The room amenities worked well for me. I liked the bed, which was very cozy to the point that I always ended up sleeping early. Not the usual me, I know. I also admire the hotel room’s minimalist and modern design.
Facilities
Novotel Surfers Paradise also provides excellent amenities and service items to give guests the comfort and conveniences. Guests can unwind and relax at the hotel’s swimming pool and spa. There’s also a well-equipped fitness center and a full-sized tennis court.
There is also a restaurant and bar on site. Hanlan’s Restaurant & Bar offers daily buffet breakfast, à la carte option, light snacks and a daily fresh Seafood Buffet. I had the chance to try Hanlan’s Restaurant during breakfast. The buffet spread has nice choices of sausages, meats, hash brown, beans eggs, breads, pastries, spreads, sweets and fruits.
Other facilities of the hotel also include luggage storage, common lounge, computer terminals and concierge. Front desk is also available 24 hours. The hotel also features conference and meeting rooms.
It was a great two nights stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise. I had a well-appointed room all to myself. The hotel is centrally located that made it also easy for me to wander around. With its convenient location, I was also able to go to the beach in just a matter of 5-minute walk. The outstanding facilities of Novotel Surfers Paradise and its friendly staff also made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel undoubtedly provided me the conveniences and comforts making my short vacation in Surfers Paradise a wonderful one.
