Overnight Party at The Linden Suites

Even travelers need a break; but if you’re wondering what kind of break a person who travels a lot need to, then two of which are staycation and… partying! A period to relax, laze around and just be in the bed. But if you’d like it to be a little more exciting, crazy and fun, throwing a party during a staycation is a great addition.

Just like a month ago, together with some travel bloggers, we held a staycation / party in The Linden Suites, a classic and chic hotel property situated in the business district of Ortigas.

Friday night; and it was already nearing 9:00 PM when me and Elal were able to arrive at our party room in the Linden Suites, where all the other travel bloggers are already enjoying the night. There are new and familiar faces. International travel bloggers, Kate of Adventurous Kate and Sab of Just One Way Ticket, also joined us to experience how Filipino travellers party.

Each of us chipped in some food and booze. We had some favorite Pinoy food that filled us up the entire night; food like Spaghetti, Lumpiang shanghai and the tasty Lechon belly from Cebu’s Original Lechon Belly.

Certainly, a party isn’t a party without booze. We had beers and wines but what truly made the night even more fun and zest are the bottles of Frontera wine from FlyAce Corporation.

After awhile, Oman set up the karaoke which feels like they were just waiting for us to come to play it on. Brenna, of course the karaoke addict as she is, had started the karaoke singing.

The rooms of the other tower of The Linden Suites are now refurbished giving its guests a more elegant and enjoyable hotel experience. Rooms are now with high ceiling and wide windows making its ambiance more inviting. Rooms are also big enough to accommodate large parties, friends getting together and families spending a staycation.

There are 5 room types in Linden Suites namely; Deluxe Room, One Bedroom Suite, Two Bedroom Suite, Three Bedroom Suite and Penthouse Suite.

I stayed at the Deluxe Room during the overnight party. The room is spacious. It has a dresser and walk-in closet area perfect for a little privacy. The room is also complemented by a full-sized working desk and internet access making it an effective working space for business travellers.

Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea are also available inside the room. Snacks and cold drinks are also available inside the fridge for a fee.

The party lasted until 4:00 AM. We then went to our respective rooms and had called it a night.

We woke up a few hours after and proceeded to the Mesclun Restaurant & Cafe for our buffet breakfast. After finishing our breakfast, we went back to our rooms again and placed ourselves quickly to our respective beds to catch up some rest.

The nice morning view from my room window added up to get me some mental repose.

It was an amazing and enjoyable stay for all of us; meeting new travelers and partying with equally partyholic people was such a fun experience. But before we had checked out from our room, we took multiple shots in the bed with our bed-some poses.

A slumber party won’t be called as such without even having a little party in the bed, right?
