Best Hotel in Ximending Taipei? My Experience Staying at Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong
I first discovered Orange Hotel during my Taipei trip last year, when I stayed at their Ximen branch. I enjoyed it so much that I promised myself I’d stay with them again. So this year, I decided to try their Ximen Hanzhong branch, and I’m so glad I did. I spent 5 nights there, and just like before, they didn’t disappoint. My experience at Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong was more than just a comfortable stay. It felt like the perfect home base in the middle of vibrant Ximending.
Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong has a great location. It is just a few steps from Ximen MRT Station and close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions in Ximending. With such a convenient spot, it wasn’t hard for me to find the hotel. I arrived around noon and was warmly welcomed by the staff. Since it was still early for check-in, they kindly offered to store my luggage so I could explore the area. A few hours later, I came back, and my room was ready with my keycards waiting for me.

For this trip, I went with the Orange Terrace Room. The moment I stepped inside, I couldn’t help but smile. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I knew right then that I was going to enjoy every night I spent there.
My room was air-conditioned and had a medium-sized bed, good for one person or two. It came with useful amenities like a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, safe, kettle, table and chairs, and an open cabinet for clothes. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a hairdryer and fresh towels provided. My favorite part was the terrace. It was big and gave me a nice view of Taipei, including landmarks like Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and Taipei 101.
During my stay at Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong, I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were just right. After spending the day walking around and exploring Taipei, coming back to my room felt like such a treat. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect place to relax and recharge. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of comfort it gave me throughout my stay.
Facilities
One of the things I also loved about my stay at Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong was its great facilities. The lobby is warm and welcoming, and there’s a minibar in the same area where guests can enjoy free drinks, snacks, and ice cream. I couldn’t get enough of the pineapple cake and ice cream. The hotel also has a free self-service laundry area with washers, dryers, and ironing equipment, perfect for longer stays. On odd-numbered floors, there are pantries with microwaves and water dispensers for added convenience.
The hotel also offers fast and reliable Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the free breakfast vouchers, which can be used at selected Louisa Coffee or MOS Burger branches nearby. It was an easy and delicious way to start the day.
