Grand Blue Beach Hotel: Affordable Beachfront Stay in Boracay
This was my second trip to Boracay this year, but this time I decided to go solo. I wanted a peaceful getaway where I could slow down, enjoy the beach, and watch the sunset without feeling rushed. To experience that side of the island, I chose to stay in White Beach Station 3. It’s a quieter and more laid-back area that’s perfect for travelers looking to relax. While searching for an affordable beachfront hotel in Boracay, I came across Grand Blue Beach Hotel Boracay. It’s a cozy and budget-friendly spot right by the shore that seemed to fit exactly what I was looking for.
True enough, Grand Blue Beach Hotel turned out to be the perfect choice for my much-needed break. When I arrived, I was immediately impressed by its location. The hotel was just a few steps from the entrance and I was already on the soft white sand, with the beach right in front of me. It was so easy to take a quick dip or simply sit by the shore and enjoy the sound of the waves. This was exactly the kind of simple, peaceful island escape I had in mind.
Aside from its perfect beachfront location, the friendly staff of the hotel also made my stay at Grand Blue Beach Hotel a wonderful one. I was warmly welcomed with genuine smiles that instantly made me feel at home. It was such a nice gesture after a long day of travel. The check-in process was quick and easy. After showing my ID and confirming my booking, my room key was ready in just a few minutes. I was also given a refreshing welcome drink, perfect for the hot and humid afternoon that time. With the warm hospitality and smooth check-in, I knew right away I had chosen the right place to stay in Boracay.
Room
One of the staff kindly escorted me to my room, which was located on the third floor. I stayed in a Superior Room with a queen-size bed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was simple yet cozy, with a warm and relaxing feel that instantly made me feel at home. I appreciated how well-maintained everything was, and it had all the essentials I needed for my three-night stay.
My room also had a clean and modern bathroom, complete with toiletries and fresh towels. The room also came with convenient amenities such as an in-room safe, hair dryer, cable TV, cabinet, mini fridge, bedside light, and an electric kettle. There was also a water container in the room that I could refill with drinking water from the available water dispenser located in the common areas.

I was lucky enough to get a quick tour of the other rooms, thanks to one of the friendly staff members who showed me around. The hotel has an annex building where the Economy and Standard Twin Rooms are located, while the Superior, Standard Family, and Premier Family Rooms are in the main building. Each room type offers comfort and value, catering to both solo travelers, group of friends, and families looking for a relaxing stay in Boracay.

The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, which became one of my favorite spots during my stay. I often enjoyed my snacks, dinner, and a few drinks there. There are also sun loungers available at the beachfront for guests to use for free. This was one of my favorite spots that is perfect for spending lazy afternoons under the sun or watching the beautiful Boracay sunset.
My stay at Grand Blue Beach Hotel truly redefined what a Boracay vacation means to me. There were no island tours and no packed itinerary. It was just slow mornings, quiet afternoons, and sunsets by the beach. It was also my first time staying on this side of the island. The hotel was right on the beachfront, and it made me appreciate Boracay in a whole new way. Grand Blue Beach Hotel gave me the kind of peaceful escape I didn’t know I needed. It was simple, relaxing, and exactly how an island getaway should feel.
