Now Eyeing for London

One of the things that I really dreamt of is to set my foot in Europe. I don’t really have a preference for the country from this continent I would like to go to but as long as it has that ‘European touch’, then that would really suffice. But that ‘whatever-country’ thing changed when I watched a local TV show about travelling in London. I was not really keen on going to the city before but after watching that travel show it became my primary choice for a European destination.
London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. The city is said to be a leading global city due to different factors and assets that lead to its standing. Undoubtedly, fashion, arts and tourism are part of those. So now, who wouldn’t want to get to this place? London is certainly a popular center for tourism. It is said that the city attracts over 14 million international visitors per year which makes it Europe’s most visited city. I bet one of the most visited sites in this prominent city is London Eye. Now, I’m eyeing to see that too.

Travelling to London might sound expensive to most but if you do your research then you’ll find out that there are ways to spend less in this notable city. And that’s what I’ve learned from watching that show.

Two things that you can really save on when travelling to this city is transportation and accommodation.

Instead of taking cabs or taxis, you can opt for buses and trains to get to your destination. The famous London red buses are said to be a quick, convenient and cheap way to travel around the city. By taking buses you’ll also get to see famous sites along the way.

Another way to save money is to opt for an alternative to posh and luxurious hotels, why don’t you go and look for cheap London hotels. There are a lot of less expensive hotels in the city which can still provide you with the comfort you want from your accommodation. I think Hostels and cheap B&Bs are worth looking at especially if you’re really on a tight budget.

Aside from that information I learned about travelling to this city, what really excites me now are the places to visit. And here’s a list of some sites I’d like to see once I set my foot in London; but not too soon.

(1) London Eye
(2) Tower of London
(3) Big Ben
(4) Tower Bridge
(5) Buckingham Palace
(6) British Museum

These are just some of the places that I would like to visit. Some of the attractions in London are free of charge, so that will also help you save money on your visit.

With now these things in mind, I think I can go and start planning my next big trip. What I’ve been eyeing for now would be the next? Let’s see.
