Day Tour at Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort

Part of our day trip in Bolinao is we spent a day tour in Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort. Why day tour? Simply, I can’t afford to stay overnight on this classy beach resort. Instead, I purchased the P900 for Day Tour for 5 Persons (73% off) through online group buying site. The voucher includes day tour entrance fee for 5 persons and includes use of dome tent with table and chairs at the picnic area, griller, swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, shower room, changing room, kayak, canoe, billiards table, pool table and table tennis. Good deal, isn’t it?

I went to the shore the time we were settled in the picnic area. The sand is white and fine. The beach is still and calm. The sea level was too low so you need to get to the break water to totally enjoy the beach.

By the way, the voucher buyers are also allowed to bring their own food and charcoal to the picnic area. And I supposed food at the beach resort might be expensive so we brought our own food and cooked it at the picnic area.

It was good that we’re only two groups who visited the resort then. Also, there are only few overnight guests that time.

We owned the beach! After lunch, we didn’t waste our time and went towards the break water. See how far that guy have been and it’s still low tide. It feels like were just walking in the flood.

So peaceful and calm.

After 20 minutes or so we finally heard waves hitting the sea. We’re now too far from the shore and the water level is still lower, just above the knee. We’re too afraid to go further so we just ended our walk there and there are too many sea weeds already. Unluckily, I got wound when I fell to those sea weeds when a wave hit me.

We went back to the resort and the water was getting lower. Sandbars were visible everywhere.

We wanted to go kayaking or canoe but the water level was not permissible for such activity.

So we just went inside the resort to roam the place and look for other activities that can be done.

It really showed up its superiority and class in terms of the resort’s structure, which it was really known for. (In tagalog: Sosyal!) Since this is not usual for us to get to this such resort, we spent the most out of it.

How I wish I could have a backyard like this!

The resort was really beautiful. I would be glad if I could stay overnight. Nonetheless, day tour was still enjoyable. Remember, we owned it that time. Only few guests are around and we’re the only active guests roaming the area.

How can you resists this beautiful resort? Then suddenly I just plunged myself into the pool!

See no one was around? Just us! Oops… except for those carpenters doing their works! 🙂

The resort has its playground too. After taking a dip at the pool, we went to the playground area. I love seesaw and slides.

Aside from these kiddie playground, the resort also has its gaming area for billiards and table tennis. At 4:00 PM, we went back to our area and ate the remaining food that we had. Check out time for day tour guest is at 5:00 PM so we took a shower and fixed our things. We left the resort at 5:00 PM and took a tricycle back to Bolinao town proper. It was an enjoyable trip for my family. I was happy that they enjoyed it a lot. Although my Mom just slept the whole day. I was looking forward for more travels with family and I can’t wait for it. Come December and I have a travel with my clan! I wish luck to that as my Aunt appointed me to organize it! 🙂

Puerto Del Sol Resort

Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort is a good place for anyone who wants serenity with a bit of moderate adventure. A 5 – 6 hours drive away from the busy city of Metro Manila and here’s to experience such class and beauty. A place that doesn’t only put us closer to nature but closer to each of us, as family!

@Ian | Going Places, I was surprised na ganon sya kalayo. I thought mga 15 – 20 minutes away lang.

@Chyng, yes it's good for 5 but no food. But those who availed the voucher can bring their food.

@Anonymous, I purchased it at pakyaw.com.ph but I think the deal has ended.

  7. Nakita ko yang resort when went to Bolinao at maukhang posh at for sosyal. Maganda pa din ang mag-souvenir pics sa low tide beach, scenic pa rin sya… Pero hindi mo pa din aakalain na 45 minutes yan from the city proper. Yung resort na pinag-stay namin malayo pa dyan.
