Buddy's Pancit Lucban

Tuesday, September 27, 2011

One time, I craved for pancit (noodles). It was a good timing that my ex-officemate invited us for an eat out. And since I'm craving for pancit, she suggested to eat at Buddy's Pancit Lucban.

The restaurant has a lot of branches in the metro. Good thing there's a branch located nearby. But it wasn't near actually as it took us 20 minutes walk to get there.

But anyways, there's a lot of customers waiting when we arrived. It only shows that this restaurant serves real good food.

We took our orders and paid it at the cashier. Then we just waited for our turn. Afterwards, a table was already available for us. The store is quite small as it can only accommodate 20 persons or less. Nevertheless, it was the taste of the food were after for.

It doesn't take long for our orders to be served. We ordered 2 Pancit Lucban good for 2 - 3 persons for PHP 155.00 each. We ordered 2 orders of it since we thought it will not fit for all of us. But 1 order of it is already good for 4 - 5 persons (depending on the appetite).

Sentosa + Some Misadventures Back Home

Friday, September 23, 2011

A Quick Visit to Siloso Beach, Sentosa. After our enjoyable day at Universal Studios Singapore, me and my friends proceeded to Siloso Beach, Sentosa. It was the last day of our trip and we only have 4 hours left before our bus ride back to Kuala Lumpur. But since we're already in Sentosa, why not make the most out of it. From Universal Studios Singapore, we walked going to the transit. No need to pay for the transit as long as you're already inside Sentosa. But if you're coming from Vivo City, there's a fee, which I think is the same with the shuttle bus going inside.

If you've got a lot of time to spend, I suggest to walk going to the Beach point because there are lot of spots that you'll be able to pass by like the giant Merlion park. Though, we have seen it during our transit ride going to Siloso beach.

Warning: Picture Overload (Heavy Post)

It was an exciting day for us as we headed to the Universal Studios Singapore. To get there, we rode a shuttle bus outside Vivo City. The fare costs SGD 2.00 for round trip.

We already purchased our tickets online prior to this trip. The One Day Pass admission fee costs SGD 66.00, and good thing there's an on going promo of 20% off discount for those who will purchase using MasterCard.

It was already 11:00 AM when we got to the Universal Studios Singapore. We felt excited as soon as we saw the theme park's famous trademark, the revolving globe. Of course, we took pictures first! :)

Wandering along the Streets of Singapore

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Good Morning Singapore! Me and some of my companions woke up early so we can drop by at China Town and Sim Lim Mall first before we go to the Universal Studios Singapore that day. We'll just meet the rest of our friends  at Vivo City afterwards.

From our hotel, we walked to Geylang Station and rode a train going to China Town. We arrived at China Town past 9:00 AM and the stalls were not yet open.

From China Town to Clarke Quay

Because it wasn't open yet, we decided to go to Clarke Quay. We walked to get there and did some sight seeing as well on the spots we were able to pass by.

Singapore City Tour

Touring Around Singapore. It was already 4:00 PM when we started our quick tour in Singapore. We have a lot of places to visit that day with limited time, so we planned to render at most an hour for each places we'll visit.

Mustafa Centre. Our first destination that day is to go to Mustafa Centre. It is a shopping center open 24 hours wherein you can buy chocolates on a cheaper price. From Geylang Station we went to Farrer Park station and walked for about 5 minutes to reach Mustafa Centre.

In Transit to Singapore

Day 03 Malaysia to Singapore. It was our third day in Malaysia. Last night was a tiring one so we've decided to skip our Cyberjaya tour on our Day 3, instead me and my friend Aphol decided to wake up early so we can go to KL Tower before we go to Singapore. Unfortunately, we woke up late. Our flight to Singapore is 12:00 PM and we were able to get up from our bed at around 8:00 AM. So we hurriedly bathed and fix our things. And I can see another amazing race here to the airport! ;)

It was already past 9:00 AM when we checked out from the hotel. We need to get to the KL City Air terminal by 9:25 AM because we have a train to catch scheduled to depart at 9:33 AM.

From China Town Inn hotel, we hurriedly went to Pasar Seni Station going to KL Sentral. And from there is the KLIA transit to LCCT. After all the haste we had, unfortunately we missed it, the train door was already closed when we arrived. :(

We could have make it if I and some of my companions were not lost and headed to the wrong station, the KLIA Express. So just so you know, it's different from the KLIA transit. Ticket cost RM 12.50.

The Famous Petronas Twin Towers

Saturday, September 3, 2011

Whenever I heard of Malaysia, the famous Petronas Twin Towers always popped up into my mind. As a matter of fact, when we reached Kuala Lumpur, I looked for it first. And it doesn't fail me to see the famous tower as it was very apparent everywhere from the city central.

We arrived at the KL Sentral at around 7:30 PM from Genting Highlands. Then we took a Putra Line train going to KLCC station. From the station, we went out through Suria KLCC, a shopping mall. Beside Suria KLCC are the Petronas Twin Towers.
